Wine Critics Notes:
Allen Meadows - Score: 91-93(2015 January)
Generous but not dominant wood makes it difficult but not impossible to appreciate the cool and airy array of pomegranate, plum and floral scents. There is once again ample dry extract adding texture to the beautifully delineated and mineral-inflected flavors that possess an ultra-fine mouth feel, all wrapped in a lingering and ever-so-slightly austere finish. The wood is presently more than I like but the underlying material is such that it should integrate quickly.
